Music City Half Marathon, 10k And 5k, Presented By Eddie Ferrell
|Date||Saturday, April 17 2021|
Great news! While we might not have been able to conduct our Music City Half Marathon, 10K & 5K presented by Eddie Ferrell around St. Patrick's Day like we historically do because of Covid-related permitting issues, we're excited to announce that we have now been given the approval to host our race on April 17 in Nashville and will once again be offering the half marathon, 10K and 5K distance options. We will also be utilizing an exciting new route this year - Shelby Park and Shelby Bottoms Greenway. Please do save the date of March 19th for 2022, when we bring back our St. Patrick's Day-themed event!
Socially Distanced Start
As of April 9th, Davidson County no longer requires a mask for outdoor events or activities. This includes marathons, triathlons, festivals, etc. However, it is strongly recommended to wear a mask if one is unable to social distance. With this in mind, we will still be following social distancing protocol to minimize gathering, including a time trial individual start and no post-race award ceremony or food area. There will be grab-n-go food and drinks after finishing. With no formal awards ceremony, winners will pick up at the Fleet Feet Brentwood location. Hydration stations on the course will have bottles of water and Powerade available vs cups, with no food or other supplements offered, so plan to bring your own nutrition as needed for running.
