Mars Petcare St. Patrick's Music City Half, 10k, 5k, And 1mi
|Date||Saturday, March 14 2020|
Start/Finish line will be at the East Bank Landing, adjacent to Nissan Stadium, home of the Tennessee Titans.
Parking will be in Lot R, right beside your finish line!
All four courses are pure out and back courses. The run will begin at East Bank Landing with a flat start down Titan's Way to Russell Street, left on S. 1st Street, left onto the Woodland Street bridge, left on 1st Ave N to the Gay Street Connector, then taking Gay Street to the Cumberland River Greenway to Metro Center and back for the Half Marathon. About ten miles of the Half Marathon is on the Cumberland River Greenway. Enjoy the beautiful view of the Cumberland River - and the Nashville skyline - as you make your way back into town! The 10k and 5k runs turnaround at their half way points. The 10k will turnaround at just over three miles on the Cumberland River Greenway (out and back) while the 5k turns around on 1st Ave North just after the greenway entrance. The Lucky Dog Wag 'n Walk One Mile Walk / Run is completely flat, starting just like the other runs and turning around near S. 1st Street & Russell (before leaving Nissan Stadium Area.)
HOW ABOUT THE HILLS?
You get a flat start behind Nissan Stadium, then climb from 0.5 ish to 0.9 ish mile up the Woodland Street Bridge, crossing the Cumberland River into the west side of downtown. On your return, you have about a 0.25 mile climb back up 1st Ave N from the Gay Street Connector back up to the Woodland Street Bridge just after mile 2 for the 5k, near mile 5 for the 10k and mile 12 for the Half Marathon, but down hill all the way to the finish line from that point!
