Powerman Alabama Weekend: A Team Magic Tradition

Powerman Alabama Multisport Weekend at Oak Mountain State Park

Races include the USAT Elite Duathlon National Championship and PowerKids Duathlon on Saturday plus the Powerman Alabama Duathlon (10k / 60k / 10k) and Double Oak Duathlon (5k / 20k /2.5k) on Sunday. The Powerman Alabama age group race serves as the USA Triathlon Long Distance Regional Championship.

Both of the Sunday races can serve as a warm up and gauge of fitness for triathlon season or for the Duathlon National Championship coming up late April! Whether you are getting ready for your first triathlon, for a big tri season, or trying to have your best race ever at Duathlon Nationals... test your fitness and get the cob webs off of the transition bag with us on March 24-25!

NEW CLUB CHALLENGE AT POWERMAN

As part of Team Magic new Tri Club Partnership program, special prizes will be announced soon for a season kick-off "Club Challenge" at our Powerman Alabama Weekend. Powerman weekend has something for everyone: Kids race, Elite race, Amateur races for the long course specialist and the short course specialist or those not quite ready for an early season long distance.

Special prizes will be announced soon based on club attendance, overall club performance and a special club relay team category...so if doing the complete duathlon is not for you, pick out a partner and team up for your club!

SAVE THE DATE LADIES! August 18th, 2012

Team Magic will organize their 1st triathlon "for ladies only" at the Maryland Farms YMCA on Saturday, August 18th. This race will take place in conjunction with our 2nd year of the Vaco Brentwood Kids Triathlon. Look for more information and registration opening soon for both the kids triathlon and the ladies only event!

Girls on the Run Nashville 5k

Join many of your friends at Team Magic for the Girls on the Run Nashville 5k!

The 4th Annual GOTR 5k presented by Baptist Sports Medicine will be held May, 5, 2012 at 8:30 a.m. at Nashville’s Shelby Park. Mark your calendars and REGISTER HERE!

Training Plans Offered For All Team Magic Events

Team Magic is once again partnering with TriSuccess Multisport Coaching LLC to offer training plans for each of the events on our 2012 calendar. These plans are now available for purchase online via links provided below and conveniently when you register for our events through imAthlete.com.

A representative from TeamMagic and TriSuccess will be at the event site the day before each race during packet pick up hours conducting a pre-race overview and Beginner Q&A session.
