Confirmation Packages & Race Program

A confirmation notice will be e-mailed to all entrants. You will receive a race program with your race packet at registration and packet pick up. PLEASE review the race information inside the program for the most current race weekend announcements. RACE PROGRAMS AND CONFIRMATION PACKETS WILL NOT BE MAILED IN ADVANCE.

 

USA Triathlon Additional Information

This race is sanctioned by USA Triathlon and Team Magic race directors Therese Bynum and Faye Yates are Certified Race Directors.

 

USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required. USA Triathlon provides rules, guidance and governance to set the standard for safe and fair multisport races. All individuals that race in Team Magic events must either be an annual member currently, buy a one-day membership for $10, or buy an annual membership before the event for $39. Youth racers 17 years old and under MUST be annual members, but this membership is only $5. Visit www.usatriathlon.org for more information about becoming a member. One-day memberships can be purchased with your event entry fee.

 

YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SHOW A PHOTO ID and SIGN A WAIVER AND PAY A ONE-DAY FEE AT RACE REGISTRATION or SHOW A PHOTO ID and SHOW YOUR USAT CARD if you are an annual member.

 

ALL RELAY MEMBERS MUST SIGN WAIVER and PAY THE ONE-DAY FEE OR BE A MEMBER OF USAT.

 

Refund Policy:
Team Magic has a NO REFUND policy. However, we do offer partial credits for cancellations during our cancellation periods.

 

A credit for 50% of your race registration fee will be offered until 21 days prior to the race date.


Credits can be used to register for another Team Magic event and will be valid for 12 months after the event date.

 

In order to receive the credit, log-in to www.imATHLETE.com, select "My Events" and click "Manage Registration" on the event you'd like to cancel



Waitlist Policy:
Waitlist registrations DO NOT guarantee an entry for the event and are processed in the order in which they are received. In order to be on the waitlist, 100% payment is required during registration. If the event is filled to capacity and enough participants cancel prior to the event, you will be emailed a confirmation that you have been entered into the event.

 

Waitlist Fee:
100% of the total registration fee. If your waitlist registration is NOT converted into a race entry (i.e. not enough confirmed entrants cancel prior to the event), you will be issued a gift code for the Waitlist Fee amount. Your gift code can be used for another Team Magic event for a period of 12 months after the initial event date.

 

Event Cancellation or Modification Policy:
If Natural Disaster or Community Disaster occurs, our action steps are as follows:
1. Team Magic, Inc. in concert with local officials will make decisions based on safety first.
2. Courses and/or race segments will be altered as agreed to between Team Magic, Inc. and local officials
3. Financial: It is not financially feasible for Team Magic, Inc. to accept the risk of a disaster for everyone. Each registered participant needs to accept the risk of his or her entry fee. There will be NO REFUNDS or free entries to future races. The money you paid is spent developing the subject event.
4. Team Magic, Inc. does not save any money if one of our events has to be canceled or for reasons beyond our control. All supplies and services needed for the events are purchased and/or arranged in advance. All event supplies and services associated with that event must be paid for, regardless of the outcome.
