Welcome to the Mountain Lakes Triathlon!

Don't miss our fastest sprint triathlon in beautiful Guntersville, AL. This race has become the favorite for participants from Beginners to the Elite due to the flat, fast course, great post-race pool side party, and of course the infamous tie-dye shirts and beach towels!

The city of Guntersville definitely gives racers a warm welcome with great community support from local police & emergency management and from local volunteer groups including the Guntersville Rescue Squad, Guntersville Seniors, High School Band and Band Boosters, Canoe and Kayak club and the Parks & Recreation Department.

We do expect this race to sell out early, so be sure to register prior to the week of the race. We also encourage racers to pick up race packets on Friday night if possible.

The SE has one of the strongest programs in the country coached by Kathleen Johnston and Caroline Butler of TriSuccess. The Junior Talent ID Series has been instrumental in helping discover and develop talent in the Southeast and we are excited to be part of this important program for the future of the sport of triathlon.
