McMinn Race Info

We are so excited to have you join us for this race tradition... on a new date and with new race distances! Below is some preliminary info to get you ready. Also, all race info is available on the event web page.

Notice we have adjusted the bike distance to 11.5 miles based on meetings with the city. This is a great course - we did try to find a shorter route but could not find an option we were pleased with. So, pedal a little more to get ready for the bike! You can view the course maps and profiles here and hope you will be happy not too hilly...

TELL YOUR FRIENDS! Sign up by May 4th to enjoy the early entry fee - they will pay $20 extra if they wait until May 5th.

Bring the Kids - Great Pool Fun and Small Fry Tri Option!

Small Fry Tri - kids age 2 to 6 can get in on the fun to! A very non-competitive mini-triathlon will be held immediately following the adult race.

Please note this is for the young ones only - the fee is only $8 and includes an all-day pass to enjoy the pool. Click HERE for a flyer you can complete and mail in or you can register at the race site. Finisher award to all.

WHERE TO STAY FRIDAY NIGHT:
See hotel options below - they are nice hotels just off the interstate only about 30 miles from the race site. There are a few hotels in McMinnville, but very limited options. Team Magic staff is staying at the hotels listed below!

Friday, Day Before Race
4:00 pm - 6:00 pm - Registration & packet pick-up
McMinnville Civic Center

5:00 pm - Race Overview in the Transition Area;
Followed by Beginner Q & A

Saturday, Race Day
6:45 am - 7:45am - Registration & packet pick-up & body marking

8:00 am - Bikes must be in the transition area.
Race overview in transition area.

8:30 am - Interval swim starts begin by participant race number.

11:00 am - Awards ceremony following designated last finisher.

WHERE IT HAPPENS
The race site is at the McMinnville Civic Center, home to the Parks and Recreation Facility. The address is 500 Garfield Street. Exit Hwy 55 on 70S / West Main Street to the right toward downtown. Go about 1.5 miles and take a left on Clark Blvd (just after a tire place.) Go 0.4 of a mile to Garfield. Take a left and the McMinnville Recreation Complex will be on your right. RACE SUPPORT
ACME Multisport will be on site for race support on Saturday morning and during registration hours Friday - they are there for emergencies, not complete tune-ups so be sure to have your bike checked before you come to the race.

ACME Multisports will be set up during the expo selling those last minute items you might need.
