Our 2nd annual Brett / Robinson Alabama Coastal Triathlon (well, actually duathlon!) went off just great despite having to change the swim to a run due to unsafe gulf waters. Congratulations to our overall winners Eric Bell of Knoxville, TN and Hallie Blunck of Birmingham, AL and to all competitors.

Welcome to the Brett Robinson Alabama Coastal Triathlon
on the beautiful Alabama Gulf Coast!

The Alabama Gulf Coast Sports Commission is our partner in this triathlon and is dedicated to making every racer feel welcome and have an enjoyable stay.

 

Post-Race Options

The post race awards party will be at LIVE BAIT restaurant just east of the race site on the beach front road. All door prizes and awards will be distributed there from 11:30 am - 2:30 pm - free food and beer for racers!

The Brett Robinson Alabama Coastal Triathlon is the Alabama State Qualifier for the BEST OF THE U.S. AMATEUR TRIATHLETE COMPETITION.

This event has been designated as the USA Triathlon Intermediate Distance Alabama State Championship. In addition to our standard awards, special awards will be distributed to the Overall, Masters, Grandmasters, Junior and PC racers from the state of Alabama.

 

While the race has a championship designation, we welcome all racers. There are NO qualification standards. Not ready to do the whole thing? Put together a relay team and join the fun.

 

The Alabama Gulf Coast Sports Commission is pleased to welcome the participants of the second annual Brett Robinson Alabama Coastal Triathlon. We want to invite you and your families to come down to our beautiful beaches, enjoy southern hospitality and a fun, safe race.
