Schedule Of Events

All pre-race and post-race activities take place at the main staging area located on Riverfront Parkway between the streets of Chestnut and Power Alley, on the waterfront, in the heart of downtown Chattanooga.

Pre-Registered? Must present PHOTO ID
Registering at Race site? Must present PHOTO ID and USAT card if member
The racer must be present to pick up their packet. You cannot get a friend to pick up your packet- sorry!

Saturday, June 25
12-6 PM: Packet Pick-up / Late Registration at Race Site / Event Expo / Bike Overnight Check-In (Recommended)
8:30 AM - 12:45 PM: USAT Coaching Clinic - Hilton Garden Inn - Get Info here*
3:30 PM: Race Overview at Team Magic large black tent, including USAT Rules Overview and Beginner Q&A - main expo area

Sunday, June 26
5:30-6:30 am: Packet Pick-up / Race Day Registration
5:30 am: Transition Opens
6:30 am: Transition Closes. All bikes must be in transition & transition clear of all non-relay team racers

6:45 am: Sprint Race Swim Start - Relays First, followed by lowest assigned sprint #
7:30 am:  Intermediate Race Swim Start - Relays First, followed by lowest assigned intermediate #
9:30 am: Sprint Race Awards Ceremony [estimated time]
12:30 pm: All racers must be finished with the race. When you finish the bike, please be sure you can finish the run by 12:30 pm to have a supported race. We will no longer have police and volunteer support after this point.
*12:30 pm*:  Intermediate Awards Ceremony following designated last finisher.  [estimated time] Please plan to be present at 12:30 pm. Awards presented in Main Athlete Tent.

*Please Note: Bikes cannot be removed from the transition area until the last biker has returned.


Bus Loading Schedule (for intermediate racers only. sprint start is walking distance from transition):

*Relay Teams - you will start first so get on an early bus.  If walking to the start, make sure you are there for 7:30 start.  
Many racers walk / jog to the swim start - it is on your run course.  Remember not to take anything with you that you will need for the rest of the race!  Shuttle Schedule - PDF

Post-Race Activities

Plan on bringing tents & chairs to enjoy the waterfront! Racers are provided complimentary post race food and drink.  There will be vendors on site selling food and drink for your family and friends and great restaurants and attractions close by or feel free to bring a picnic.  No Tent Staking!

Showers Available After the Race
Our friends at High Point Climbing and Fitness have complimentary facilities for post-race showers. Simply show your race bib number or show your SportTats to gain entry. Located just a few blocks from the race site at 219 Broad Street. 423.602.ROCK
