Half Marathon Course Description
The moderately hilly half marathon course will start just minutes before the Mt. Juliet Christmas Parade! Spectators will be cheering you on for the first mile before turning off onto a scenic country road. Some roads will be completely closed, and others will have one lane dedicated to runners.

5k Course Description
The 5k course does have about two rolling hills and will be on a completely closed Mt. Juliet Road. The 5k will take place minutes before the Mt. Juliet Christmas Parade. Be prepared for some excited spectators cheering you on the whole way! Runners will stay on the westbound lane of Mt. Juliet Road, since there will be parade floats on the eastbound side!
Water and Powerade will be available approximately every 1.5 miles on the half marathon course and at the 1.5 mile turnaround on the 5k course.
There will be Powergels offered at the several water stations on the course, around mile 4.5, mile 7.8 and mile 10.6. If you want additional nutrition, please provide your own or purchase at the Team Magic store.
There will be mile marker signs at each actual mile - note that the water stations are not located at the mile markers, but instead at the most ideal geographic location approximately every 1.5 miles for the half-marathon.
There will be two Course Restroom Locations.
All courses are USATF certified courses beginning and finishing at the West Wilson Middle School. Please Note:
Please run AGAINST the traffic (so stay to your left) when you start the race on N. Mt. Juliet Road.
Stay to the right on Lebanon Road.
Stay to the right on Curd Rd./Golden Bear Gateway
Stay to the LEFT on E. Division St.
Stay to the LEFT coming back on N. Mount Juliet Road.
There will be one lane closed coming back on N. Mount Juliet Road. Runners will stay left running against traffic.
