Hello from Team Magic and the Staff at the Gordon Jewish Community Center of Nashville!
Thanks for registering for the 3rd Annual Plumgood Food GJCC Memorial Day Triathlon. Not sure if you are aware, but the race sold out in early May - so congratulations on getting in!
I have been contacted by a few people about dropping out of the event for various reasons.
Please email us at races@team-magic.com if you now find you cannot race in this event. We do have a waiting list of over 50 people that would like to take your spot!
As you may have seen on our web site, we do have a NO REFUND policy. Your options if you notify us by Wednesday, May 23rd that you are dropping out:
1. We will send you a transfer credit of 50% of your entry fee to be used to register online for another Team Magic event.
2. If you can volunteer for the event, we will actually give you a full transfer for another event.
Again, we hope all of you are joining us for the race, but if you are not, please let us know. This event is truly limited by space, so we can only allow 350 racers.

1. You are starting based on your estimated swim time - if you need to adjust your swim time you can do so online by going to our web site www.team-magic.com: Register for an event > Participant Info > Questions/Updates. You must do this by Wednesday, May 23rd at midnight.
2. Q&A With USA Triathlon’s Membership Director
USA Triathlon hears this question all the time: “Who is USA Triathlon and what do they do for me?”. On May 27th, in conjunction with the GJCC Memorial Triathlon, Jennifer O’Day, the Membership Services Director for USA Triathlon, will be in town to explain just that. Join her at 4:15 PM prior to the race overview at the Gordon Jewish Community Center for a brief presentation explaining USA Triathlon’s programs, and come with any questions you may have. Whether you’re new to the sport, or a seasoned veteran, you’ll leave having a better understanding of how your annual membership and one-day license dollars are being used for the benefit of multi-sport.
