SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Race packet pick up will be located in the east end of the parking lot at the BLACK TEAM MAGIC TENT
Friday
3:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Registration & packet pick-up at the Gulf State Park Beach Pavilion on Hwy 182/Perdido Beach Boulevard
4:30 pm
Race Overview in Transition Area; Followed by Beginner Q & A session
5:00 pm
Following the race overview and Beginner Q&A - Coach Stephen Taylor presents the following clinics:
Push the Easy Button; Get through your First Triathlon Comfortably (1 hour)
Survive the Swim; Open Water Swimming Technique (1 hour, bring swim kit)
Saturday
5:30 am-6:30 am
Registration & packet pick-up & body marking
6:30 am
Bikes must be in the transition area. Race overview in transition area.
7:00 am
Swim Start begins by participant race number
12:00 pm
All racers must be finished with the race. When you finish the bike, please be sure you can finish the run by
12:00 pm to have a supported race. We will no longer have police and volunteer support after this point.
11:30 am - 2:30 pm
Awards ceremony and party at LIVE BAIT (two miles east of the race site)
Please note that all door prizes, event awards and food will be distributed at the LIVE BAIT restaurant. Beer, dirty rice, pasta, chicken fingers and more free to racers.
There will be water, energy drink, fruit and snacks at the race finish area for immediate post race needs.
Important:
Don't forget your USAT card if you are a member and ALL racers must show PHOTO ID to pick up their race packet. All racers must pick up their own race packets, thanks for understanding.
You will receive a race information booklet at packet pick up, but if you are arriving on Saturday morning, we strongly suggest you read all race details on the web page in advance.
Please note attached is a PARKING PASS for the GULF STATE PARK BEACH PAVILION to waive your entrance fee on Friday and Saturday.
